my first course in karnataka state. mysore was a princely state prior to formation of india as a country post independence from the british. the roads were "rajamaargamu" (very wide and regal in size). the climate was cool and pleasent all the time. pollution was apparant by its absence.
people of mysore were very simple, sincere, kind, polite, hospitable and rooted in their culture. it was such a breeze doing the bhagavadam with them since the bhagavadam is about bhakti (devotion) and the people were already in total faith.
it was wonderfull to see children, teeagers, adults and senior citizens
attending the bhagavadam. the teenagers declared that they never knew something "religious" like bhagavatham can be COOL!! we sang and danced and ate sumptuously through the bhagavadam sessions.
chennakesava arranged for a session in his company - Maarlabs. the response was very enthusiastic.
it was a most humbling experience to be with such enthusiastic people.
